Service menu password

Does HP use a standard password for the 8000 ? I would like to reset some values.

No. You need a service dongle.

Well, actually the Service and/or Partner PIN can also be generated out of your printers serial number. But only HP can do this … at least officially. Drop me a PM if you're interested.
